A high-performance headset mic for performers of all types. The d:fine CORE 4066 is a flexible miniature headset microphone with easy, fast adjustment and both left and right mounting. Sonically, the 4066 delivers clean, transparent sound with loads of headroom for bigger voices. The cable is terminated with a MicroDot connector, enabling use with a variety of cable adapters, supporting a range of 3rd-party wireless transmitters using DPA's flexible adapter system (adapters and transmitters sold separately). Thanks to its pristine sound and durability, the d:fine™ 4066 Omnidirectional Headset Microphone has been the chosen headset mic for broadcasters along with theaters on Broadway and London's West End. Often an issue in theatrical applications, humidity is no problem here, as the 4066 is made with a double-vent protection system and a drop stopper on the mic boom. Plus, the materials inside the mic are also water resistant. Additionally, its surface is matte-gold plated and the ear hooks are covered with a silicone hose. The mic features a sensitivity of 6 mV/Pa, which matches the level of the human voice to the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. If powered properly, the microphone will be able to handle sound pressure levels up to 144 dB SPL before clipping occurs.
