The East Beast is a subtractive monophonic synthesizer is a fresh take on old-school concepts with a few beastly twists thrown in here and there. Big filter cutoff knobs, envelope generators and fat-sounding voltage-controlled oscillators are hallmarks of East Coast-style synthesis, captured in the East Beast. Fully patchable, East Beast’s components can be used as separate modules with external devices or to reroute its internal patching. It’s like having nine individual modules: oscillator, filter, envelope, VCA, LFO, multi-mod tool, sequencer, MIDI to CV converter and button keyboard—all in one supercharged semi-modular synth.
