Here we have for sale a affordable shock mount for large diaphragm style condenser microphones. It is made from metal and is more durable than plastic but it is still affordable and a good value. This one is a bit smaller diameter than our other one (plastic or metal black mic clips) but it is nice for slightly smaller microphones. When the mic clip is not spread open the diameter is about 40mm / 1.57 in. I have used it with an Oktava MK-319 condenser microphone (49.1mm / 1.9 in. diameter) and it was a very tight fit but it did work. I tried a larger microphone, an Audio Technica P48 (about 51.3mm / 2 in. diameter) condenser microphone, and that one was too large and didn't fit. We have two other mic clips in our store that will fit larger microphones. The threading fits a standard 5/8" mic stand.
