This rugged classic microphone was made by E.V in the U.S.A for almost 10 years before being discontinued and was used for several applications. Again, this is the PL95. The "PL" stood for Professional Line.
This Pro 5X itself has just very lite wear on the original gloss ebony finish of the mic but it's free of any dents or fractures. The Pro 5X has the on / off switch that works perfectly. Original inner pop filter was replaced with a new pop filter and is in excellent shape and will last for decades.
The stand has a heavy base with a low center of gravity and will work well for top heavy mics like the Electro Voice 664 model mic. You'll see there is a Shure 545S on this stand to give you an idea of it's size.
Quite handy. The cable is in great working condition but it shows no exterior wear. I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid.
That being said this Highball is set to Hi Z. The mic itself dual Z but was wired internally to be Hi Z. If you use a standard XLR cable with this mic the mic won't work. You'll need to use the cable provided to operate the mic because the mic again, wired for Hi Z currently.
