Overview Exposed components never hold up to true outdoor environments. They may work short term but then they have to be replaced. This LED controller's internal board is completely sealed to prevent moisture from damaging its components. Conformal coating only puts a thin see-through layer over the board and components. The board's thick UV resistant coating enables the LED controller to work outdoors or on boats year around without having to replace or take down during extreme weather conditions. The outdoor controller comes with an RF remote that enables you to control your RGB LED light strips from the comfort of indoors. Change patterns speed dim or just turn the light strip on/off without having direct line-of-sight with the controller. Avoid installing the controller in a metal enclosure which will greatly reduce the wireless range of the remote. The remote includes a 12 VDC 23A alkaline battery.
