You are looking at a classic 1st generation (1950's era) Electro Voice 664 dynamic cardioid microphone. This particular mic is in perfect working condition and currently set at High impedance giving you a clear, smooth tone that's void of bass.

These earlier 630 mics just aren't as stronger as the later generations which is probably due to the aged materials. It has a grittier tone that is void of bass so it's good for HAM radio operation and even better as a harp mic.

Even in Low Z this 630 has a grittier tone that is mostly void of bass and very mid range in tone. Very "Rockabilly" in nature. No issues. No dents, heavy scratches or fractures. Just a few subtle scuff marks and lite pitting.
