Vintage 60’s Lafayette 99-45130 Crystal Microphone ~ New Old Stock Cartridge
Uncertain of the exact model this fits. I know the part is new and the rubber around the cartridge isn't dry. One wire fell off of the solder S-1

The microphone has been tested and works. I check my microphones on a Tektronix 2225 oscilloscope for output only.
This mic is actually a dual impedance mic being both Hi Z and Lo Z depending on how the cable was attached. This mic has been cleaned and tested. It should be used as a display, prop or repair mic only.
This will make an excellent harp mic as well due to it's smaller lite weight design and tone. This microphone has a classic "pill mic" appearance that's a bit on the smaller size. About the size of a chicken egg.
Again, very rare mic. There were several Japanese mics that were sold in this style but not with the dual Z switch on the head. Certainly a more aggressive design. The Lafayette 99-4545 is about half the size of the Astatic 77A.
