DBX 140x Type II Tape Noise Reduction
This is the Type II consumer version of EQ for cassette decks and home reel to reel decks. I don't have a tape deck but looped through the tape in/out jacks and verified operation. Either channel: Rec in / PB out - highs are boosted; Rec out / PB in - highs are cut. Could not verify compression or expansion due to source music. Both Rec & PB in or Both out - sound is same as source. Has rack rash and signs of use. Manual included.
