I used this for a few hours to record a lo-fi demo. Tested, all controls, inputs, faders, knobs, and features work! (Tape cover works and will close, but it needs to be reattached. I don’t want to reattach or force it myself.) Comes with the control foot switch and power adapter. Two tapes included in the purchase. Item will ship well packed, insured.

I have not personally made any recordings with this unit. I have plugged in the unit and put a tape in to test the play, fast forward, rewind functionalities which all worked as intended. All sliders and knobs move smoothly.
