AM10

The AM10 is a modern design by Gary Barnett of the vintage Quad Eight AM10 discrete OpAmp in the API 2520 footprint. It can be used in circuits that use a 2520 type OpAmp to change the tone to the Quad Eight flavor. Description from CAPI:This DOA is a ten transistor amplifier modeled after the legendary Quad-Eight AM10. Gary has reformatted the layout to match the 2520 footprint. The original AM10 layout was a completely different proprietary footprint.It should be noted that the garAM10 has been rigorously tested on +/-28 V rails with great success. The original AM10 was actually designed to run on +/-28 V rails. In 2023 thats over $9, but we cap it at that and eat the balance. If you order more than one, its only an extra dollar for shipping each additional OpAmp in the same box (the dollar covers the extra insurance).
