Featuring multiple gain staging controls and a baxandall high and low frequency shelving equalizer, users are capable of achieving a wide variety of sounds and colors during the recording process from smooth to saturated. Built point-to-point with period-faithful attention to detail using the original UTC input transformers found in RCA consoles and an AMI UT24 (faithful UTC A24 reproduction) output transformer, carbon composition resistors and film capacitors, this smooth "New Old School" preamplifier excels at tracking countless sources in the studio.Power supply is self-contained with DC heaters and includes an on-board phantom power.
