The DN14.300T 1.4” high frequency neodymium compression driver from Lavoce’s Next Generation line offers lower distortion, smoother response, and lower power compression than their previous designs. Using advanced FEM optimization, Lavoce designed a new motor, phase plug, and diaphragm to ensure that the DN14.300T is capable of premium performance, even when pushed to remarkable output levels. With a one piece titanium diaphragm and surround, this driver is capable of accurate response with minimal unwanted resonances for smooth and natural response. The voice coil uses edgewound CCA wire on a Kapton former to minimize mass while dissipating enough heat to handle up to 110 watts RMS (220 watts max). Driving the coil is a robust neodymium magnet which cuts the overall size and weight without sacrificing efficiency or output capability.
