MOOG Subharmonicon
Subharmonicon's signature sound begins with two analog VCOs and four subharmonic oscillators for a total of six powerful sound sources. Each subharmonic tone is mathematically derived from one of the two main VCOs, giving the resulting chord shapes a wonderfully coherent quality. Built-in quantization allows you to dial in perfect intervals every time, with multiple tuning systems to choose from. Choose between the modern equal temperament, the heavenly intervals of Just Intonation or the unlimited freedom without quantization. The animation of Subharmonicon's distinctive chord shapes is accomplished via a polyrhythmic pair of 4-step sequencers. Each sequencer is clocked by one or Allen four rhythm generators, which output mathematical divisions of the master tempo. Layer multiple rhythm.
