ALL jacks, buttons, PADS, screen, faders and knobs work as they should. I've heard the new akai X and the sound and reliability will not match what this beast of a 5000 can and will do. The sequencer is legendary and top notch, easy to use too. The converters sound big and pro. The OS is solid and streamlined for fast workflow. Dont forget.. the 5000's have a wicked Virtual Analog Synthesizer built in as well! Never on any other MPC! This 5000 is hard to beat. I will of course pack this baby safe and sound for its new owner and i ship fast!!
