This is an original Western El ectric switchboard operators microphone, but it doesn’t have a headset. It also isn’t wired to a standard plug. I haven’t tested it and I don’t know if it works or not.
Telephone receiver is taken from a real landline phone and soldered with an XLR cable to turn it into a microphone. Both ends work, but the speaker side of the telephone will be more prominent sounding when spoken into. Actual condition of the receiver is good, few scratches here and there from years of wear but no real damage. Any Questions Lmk.
30Hz to 15kHz frequency range (+/-0.5dB). Two 300-ohm coils on each side, which can be connected in parallel for 150 ohms impedance, or in series for 600.

This complete assembly has survived intact for nearly a century. I will do my best to answer. This exceptional heft provides physical validation that the internal components, heavy brass castings, and dense structural ironwork are 100% intact and have not been hollowed out or replaced with modern lightweight replicas.
