I got this new from Speaker Services in Memphis back around 1989 as a replacement woofer for my ESS Eclipse M102 speakers. It was used for a few years before I retired the speakers and left them at my parent's house. I have since found some original ESS woofers and rebuilt those speakers at 4 ohms so I no longer need this. There is no cone rub or issues with the speaker and I believe these are kind of rare. Some people seem to think this is a subwoofer for car audio based on other listings I've seen but it is actually a mid-bass driver as could have been originally intended as a car speaker.
