Sturdy ATA-300 Flight Case for up to 20 Mics! Traveling Sweetwater live sound engineers are singing the praises of the XS-MIC20S mic case from ProX. It’s an ATA-300-style flight case made from 3/8-inch plywood with a black Honeycomb Digital laminated surface, so it’s durable and scratch-resistant in the air or on the road. Though lightweight, the XS-MIC20S is built solidly, with dual anchor rivets, heavy steel ball corners, and industrial butterfly twist locks — the latter can be padlocked for additional security. When it’s time to load, the XS-MIC20S locks securely, and recessed spring action handles make it easy to transport. Inside, the high-density foam is made from 70% recycled material, supporting and encasing up to 20 handheld microphones.
