At the core of its passive design are two high-performance Eclipse ET-DB2 transformers, which deliver a wide frequency range without distortion, even in the critical bass and mid regions. Unlike active circuits that overload when the signal gets too hot, transformers saturate the sound, creating a pleasing effect that rounds the tone and acts like a subtle limiter. The sound is further improved upon with the internal MuMETAL shield to protect against electromagnetic fields that would otherwise distort the sound.
