Standing on the Shoulders of Giants Nearly two decades ago, Ultimate Support invented the one-hand, height-adjustable mic stand, and they’ve been perfecting it ever since. The Ultimate Support Live Retro Series mic stands culminate years of hard work into products that stand on their predecessors' shoulders to achieve new performance levels. All models return to an improved version of their one-handed clutch mechanism, the solid and stackable base versions have been reduced in weight and retooled with classic round designs, and the stackable bases are compatible with bases from older stands in the series. Sweetwater vocalists appreciate that the tripod model's base includes an upward-folding, locking mechanism that locks the legs in place and saves space in transit.
