You are looking at an original 1940's era Electro Voice V-1 "Velocity" Ribbon microphone thumb screw that can be used on either side of your V-1, V-2 and V-3 model microphone. These thumb screws were used on all of the V series mics so as long as you have a V-1, V-2 or V-3 model you are good to go.
