Probably about 20% output. You could also mount the mic to any microphone stand once it was detached from the base which is a pretty clever design. There is just a few minor scuffs in the paint. You'll notice that there is a short cable that exits from the rear of the mic and it has the Switchcraft male XLR end connector.
