It should be noted that the 549 had a few desirable features that the 548 & 548SD did not. You can see that the 549 has a beefy lower adapter that's a built in shock mount. The impedance switch cover can be removed easily via two small screws giving you access to the switch as seen in pics # 9 & 10.
