If you have a Shure 55, 55S, 730A, 708A, or 737A (and several others) then this stand will seat perfectly to your mic and will provide a beautiful, stable platform in which to use or display. The S-36 model was the most common desk stand sold by Shure from the late 1930's to 1960 and could be used with almost all Shure model microphones utilizing the lower pistol grip.
